I am having this same issue. I never sends anything to the Sonoff after connecting, and the part that begins with "*** IMPORTANT! ***" just repeats every minute or so....

This is a big problem for me as well. Seems that you should be able to enter any number directly into the customizer's input fields, regardless of the original value.

Why can't you just type in whatever number you want, and let the spin buttons roll the rightmost digit?
