There is a note saying it is deprecated in the docs but it doesn't seem officially deprecated in the schema itself.

IfcTimeSeries.HasExternalReference inverse lower bound 1

I was working on some sample data and realized that the lower bound for HasExternalReference on IfcTimeSeries is 1, so an external reference for time series is required to exist....

ModelReference and ModelNumber properties need further distinction in their description

The two properties sound very similar to a non-expert.
