I don't know, but could the problem be caused by remapped plugins from the `.paper-remapped` folder? If I were you, I'd try deleting that folder and try again.
Are you using ProtocolLib downloaded from SpigotMC or from Jenkins? I just had the same problem. Downloaded version 5.3.0 for versions => 1.20.5 and the error was fixed. Try doing...
