Option 2 is to me the expected behavior and the current implementation is broken for that case. The existing behavior should be achieved with `v1.6.2-rc2-1.0.0`
Why would you want to allow this? There's multiple files like caches that will be accessed by both instances.
You can also check if it's running on windows 11. But that's still a pretty bad user experience.
PX4 implements this as well. However from a UI perspective I'm not sure where it makes sense to expose this to all users.
