For everyone on ubuntu having this issue, just put your labels and images folder in the darknet folder. That works for me!

I just had the same and in my case it was usb issue of the devices and has nothing to do with the ros driver.

All above solutions don't work for me. I compiled it in a ubuntu 20.04 arm docker container on the M1.
