Have you deployed the repo to your Salesforce environment.

Click the "Deploy to Org" link in the Quick Setup

@DanGrandquist I wasn't able to replicate this error on my test Org. It could be something to the Org you are trying to run it against.

Are you deploying to a Production or Sandbox environment? Looks like a generic Heroku error. I wonder if deploying to Production via the Metadata API is timing out and Heroku...
