I'll leave this open for now - it may be worth adding anyway, especially if it's in Ubuntu since it's so commonly used.

I think the goal was to make nvm loading lazy - it's pretty slow to start up without `--no-use`. @indrajitr could you weigh in?

Hm, it seems like the project-root stuff could be refactored into a function if that's going to be shared between a number of other tools... and I could see it...

Unfortunately, only sorin has admin access to the repo, so I don't think I can actually enable the wiki without him getting involved, so I'd rather avoid that for now....

This just seems like a whole lot of magic. How does this actually work?

Sorry, I've been super busy - I really like the idea behind this, especially making some issues easier to reproduce. Thanks for taking the time to do this!

This actually already exists in https://github.com/sorin-ionescu/prezto/tree/master/modules/gnu-utility. On a similar note, maybe it would make more sense to only change to the g-prefixed tools if gnu-utility is enabled.
