Experiencing the same problem here, are there any alternative libraries we could use (looks like this project isn't being maintained anymore...)
I'm also having the same issue. My animation can slide in but then doesn't slide out again.

If anybody wants to fix it they can make a change to https://github.com/alexplumb/material-ui-phone-number/blob/master/src/country_data.js and submit a PR :)
