That's pretty normal behavior with the wiring vanishing from certain angles, not much that can be done about it.

Did this get changed in the current version as of now? I'm looking through the config files and I want to do one or both of these: -Make it so...

I too have noticed the time modifiers don't seem to slow down or speed up or seemingly change the production of steam.
