I think the real question here is why DreamBerd doesn't support SQL queries on its source code.
Perhaps SQL could change it to `.notdb` so everyone knows it isn't a DreamBerd file?
If they chose `.sql` then the DreamBerd foundation would be forced to take ownership of SQL, which would be annoying because all the cool kids are using NOSQL databases...
