Yes - I think this should be "1-L2_faln" (and this is a bug).
We probably need to keep this issue open so (if we ever get around to changing the codebase) it gets fixed.

Their paper on the methodology says "Estimated carbon intensity data is provided at the end of each half hour settlement period." - which I think means it's a point estimate...
What about calculations that have two end-points. For example a data download from the EU?
