For those still having "choppy" audio (even on Windows on a decent PC (and maybe M1 - not sure)), I don't think its choppiness, I believe the audio is clipping...

Audio issue seems to have changed a bit now, its choppy and horrible irrespective of the volume level in the game now, turning it down doesn't help, its a shame...
