I've ordered [one of these resetting tools](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155677097373) which should let us empty the maintenance tank ourselves and then reset the chip to mark it as empty.
The resetting tool arrived today. I'm not quite sure where it should live longer-term, but it's on my desk at the moment.
@JackiePease now has the resetting tool (and has written this issue number on the box so it's clearer to tell which box is the one containing the tool :grin:)
Cambridge Makespace have one — I think it's [this one](https://hpclaser.co.uk/p/bofa-ad-oracle-laser-fume-filter/) which is £1500+vat, to go with a laser a bit smaller than Gerald.
We might want to add some restrictions on what can be cut on machines with a filter — Cambridge Makespace don't allow MDF, for example, because it clogs the filter...
Barry and I did a couple more unsuccessful tests today. From my Ubuntu laptop the "HP DesignJet 500 Foomatic/cdnj500 (recommended)" and "HP DesignJet 500ps Foomatic/cdnj500" printer drivers printed out ~40cm...
We definitely got it printing large posters successfully on Friday:  The trick was to set the paper size (despite it being a roll of paper, there's still a page...
