The alignment of the `x` in your screenshot looks strange as well, but this may be a general issue in these toasts?

We don't disable the "Start new conversation" button in DMs, as you can always DM yourself or a bot.
It's possible we should make this banner more accurate, but it's probably not worth thinking about until we rework DM permissions in #24467.
