`cl-typecase` can have `function` clauses, which can be used to test the type rather than `fboundp`. See `(info "(cl) Type Predicates")`.

Yes, since the session token is stored in plain text, I leave the option to save it off by default. It's not ideal, but it seems like the best compromise...
