Hi Tom -- I think what you're asking is related to issue #170. If that's the case, you could try out that solution. Otherwise I might be able to help...

Ugh freesurfer computes it based on the inflation process, that's not gonna work for us. But we can compute a reasonable facsimile just by taking the distance to the convex...

I think I mis-wrote this in haste, but here's the situation. Cortical thickness imported from freesurfer is negative (only negative values), which is weird and nonsensical. Sulcal depth is negative...

We got distracted yesterday by the thickness computation issue (and what it implied about our through-cortex sampling). I'll open that as a separate issue. But our conclusion was that we...

btw papers exist on the topic of topographic shading and they are intense https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Bernhard_Jenny/publication/233684103_Swiss-Style_Colour_Relief_Shading_Modulated_by_Elevationand_by_Exposure_to_Illumination/links/568082d508ae051f9ae7cdd6/Swiss-Style-Colour-Relief-Shading-Modulated-by-Elevationand-by-Exposure-to-Illumination.pdf

Meh, I think this likely falls outside the realm of things pycortex. I think we should definitely make it easier to create RGB-colormapped things though, so that you can just...

Hi Daniel! Thanks for both posting this issue and finding a fix :) I was actually surprised upon seeing this that (1) we are still using our own code to...

Yeah I was planning on it. On Oct 30, 2013, at 2:28 PM, James Gao wrote: > Alex, can you look into fixing this issue? I'm not sure I'll have...

Hi @uhussai7 — could you share a screenshot?

can you tell which way is up (superior) on each hemisphere? it might be a transpose of the x and y coordinates instead of a rotation.
