I think I'm running into the same problem. I'm using [Material tabs](https://v6.material.angular.io/components/tabs/overview). My table is selectable with checkboxes as well and highlights rows on mouseover. There seems to be flickering...

I think I'm hitting the same issue and am also waiting on this to be merged.
