This also happens if you are using Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS service locally. This may be related to https://github.com/major/icanhaz/issues/17.

It's down for me as well. Note: This might have to do with the latest announcement at https://major.io/2021/06/06/a-new-future-for-icanhazip/. Adding a `1.1.1.1` as a DNS server for my computer fixes it:

This started happening to me a few days ago but seems to have gotten fixed for me as of today 👍
