Why not simply clean up that old version (together with 3.1.5, for that matter)? It seems to me that leaving 3.2.2 (current stable) and 3.2.9 around would be perfectly enough?

Yes please. But simply drop the old libbpf option and *only* do `>=dev-libs/libbpf-1.0 net-libs/xdp-tools`
I can't really answer that question as I'm not a user of this package, but in case you're wondering, Qt6 is supposedly "easy" to port to, not comparable to Qt4->Qt5.
I was able to reproduce your problem instantly on freshly built git master with Qt6.
