Try increasing the network caching option in its .bat from 50 to 100.
Are you using it via WiFi or USB?

That is unrelated to the issue that the OP brought up.
So, have it do Bluetooth over USB? If so, I agree (so that way there's no limitations on the audio forwarding).
What about the issue with high latency? Also, is it possible to get it working with MPC-BE/MPC-HC?
What about getting it to use ffplay instead of VLC?
