bumping this, exact problem occurs in the december 3rd nightly build.

**UPDATE!** December 23rd Nightly Build CHD files now loads. Not only that but it got a performance boost. Before it was a 40-50fps with crackling audio. Tested Lords of Thunder...

Update. Retroarch 1.9.6 Stable. This core loads CHD files. Tested Lords of Thunder and it's now 60fps with no crashes. Safe to say this can be closed.

Hope it can be done. Unfortunately it run poorly on N3DS. When r3Ddragon shows that it can run better. At least back when it used to work 5 years ago....
