Does this work? The desktop apps works fine so far however I can't get plugin to work. The reference server works thou.

This plugin uses `purple_ssl_connect` and friends for Purple 3.x in which these are removed and replaced with Gio. E.g. see in this plugin: [jabber.c](https://keep.imfreedom.org/pidgin/pidgin/file/tip/libpurple/protocols/jabber/jabber.c#l686). Compare the function above with `rc_start_socket`.

I noticed that login only works via username but not with email associated with the account. Should this be added somewhere or fixed? Login fails for me at prelogin: DEBUG...
When I log in I don't recieve messages that were send while offline.
I tried this assuming it also reads existing passwords. Is there an option to do so? Also it shouldn't necessarily try to write passwords itself.
