I would suggest that redactions could be handled as in other similar clients such as purple-slack. E.g. Chat: ``` bar bar ``` Reduction: ``` Reducted: bar bar Reason: bar ````

Using GPGMe might be easier than invoking gpg in a sub-process is also brittle, because the command-line interface is not ideal for use by a program library in this way.

The package only has the 'news' tag please also add the gnus tag so it is easier to find.
