Well you can "disable" the app drawer using a workaround: Simply change the "Swipe Up" gesture to not launch the app drawer. Then you technically can't access it now.

Well, it's already slightly rounded, but I guess it could be changed to be more rounded. Also I think the "Feature Request" template suits more for this issue.

Does it still persist even in the latest version?

Did you try to change the icon for a work app? Also is the work profile disabled, if you've done what I said before?
