Download the latest 1.12.2 ReborCore from Curse, replace the one in your mod folder with the new one. Worked for me instantly.

I had a similar issue with tech reborn machines (Assembly Machine in particular), I re-downloaded RebornCore from twitch, and replaced the one in my mods folder with the fresh download,...

Just to clarify, I was respawning over void, about half way between my base at 0,0 and the pictured chunk border.
