Please look at the network traffic first to see if packets even arrive.
Looking at https://w3c.github.io/gamepad/ and https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Gamepad_API/Using_the_Gamepad_API it looks like the situation is much better nowadays. @Triang3l what's your stance on gamepad support now?
Quaddicted was finally updated too :p I guess this issue can be closed as things simply changed and it sounds like it is going to stay that way.

Can't reproduce. If you still encounter this, please provide actual details on your setup, how you launched WebQuake, your browser, your hardware, what to do exactly in the game, anything...
