UCR already has tray options on develop. Please target the develop branch when adding new features as mentioned in the Contribution readme

This should be implemented as a plugin, I do not think it is possible at the moment

You need to have this pull request approved by @evilC and have a new version of IOWrapper released. Then a new version (development) of UCR can use the latest IOWrapper
