Agree, opened a separate issue in Rapier: https://github.com/dimforge/rapier/issues/300 I will split this issue later based on upstream response.

The lower the FPS, the more noticeable the effect. I can reproduce the issue at ~18 FPS (no GI), it's just less noticeable.
