It's called bash completion because it works in bash :) AFAIK zsh does not support advanced bash completions and does not support the symfony script.
If you can figure it out, feel free to PR the docs, or PR symfony/console with a fix there if needed.

Yeah I can see that too, as I said I am a bit conflicted but I think we can skip those packages, it sounds fairly harmless and makes the list...

We have to see if we can simply rely on the symfony/filesystem filters now that we are running a recent version of it.
