I think that makes sense. I reviewed some convos with jeef and the [original PR](https://github.com/home-assistant/core/pull/108336) and the reasoning for accepting both was apparently simplicity, but I think allowing more options...

Hard to recall, but I don't believe I ever did. I think I just went with broadlink devices that could capture and play back IR commands.
