https://docs.brew.sh/Formula-Cookbook#specifying-gems-python-modules-go-projects-etc-as-dependencies has the rule about this. I'm fine with whatever other maintainers decide though.

Yes, CI needs a special slot to schedule a CI run for this and such a slot is not available right now.

What made you think Homebrew's code has an issue rather than the gstreamer project itself?
