What if the bookmark goes to the right step, but is placed at a rounded step in the orderlist. The bookmark could then for example be indicated as # 01...

Why not use CTRL + F3/F4? Okay, entering a number skips a few key presses, but it's easier to remember F3/F4 for transposing than a completely new key combination.
