There doesn't appear to be any way forward for this PR, even the author agrees. Feel free to comment if you need this reopened for some reason.
You need a migration so existing `peanutbutter_imitation` items turn into `peanutbutter` on load. Other than that, seems okay.
Please attach an exported save file as instructed. Or at least the crash.log file from /config/.
