Seeing as how loader doesn't need anything from Java 16 at the moment, I see no reason to use it as long as it doesn't prevent modders from using J16.

Unless using J8 with loader makes J16 unusable, implementing Jable to work with quilt-loom would probably not be worth the hassle.
