Agree in direwolf20 pack for 1.12.2 the bug is there, or feature? trying 1.6.7, still there. not trying 1.6.8 as there is no useful update in it, just downgrades.

Odd this does not happen on my server with 1.18.2 of botania with sodium and Indium maybe another mod is effecting this  a list of all mods...

Have you tried the ME Fluid interface and pipe it in direct could be a bug in the importer.
