Quick fix could be to make the column separator an editable setting ;-) Need semicolon as separator, because comma is the decimal separator in german!

Same story with code-insiders (1.99-insider) The first screenshot shows, that the title bar is even bigger than the system panel at the bottom  The second screenshot shows the screen...

Thank you for helping me. I decided to upgrade to ubuntu 2024.04 (from 2022.04) today .... and the problem is gone. I'm sorry for wasting your time :-(
