Fonts and icons in titlebar and when opening a "new window" much to big using plasma/kde since v1.98.0
Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No
- VS Code Version: v1.98.0
- OS Version: ubuntu jammy, plasma version 5.24.7
Steps to Reproduce:
- Just fire up vscode
The titlebar icons and text are roughly double the size compared to all other windows.
Please fix :-)
Greetings Oliver
Can you share a screenshot?
Can you try to reproduce with our nightly insider builds? You can give our preview releases a try from: https://code.visualstudio.com/insiders/
Same story with code-insiders (1.99-insider)
The first screenshot shows, that the title bar is even bigger than the system panel at the bottom
The second screenshot shows the screen with the font size for the main vscode window set to a pleasant value
Starting "new window", the font sizes are back to big:
Does it help to set window.zoomLevel to negative values in setting?
Thank you for helping me. I decided to upgrade to ubuntu 2024.04 (from 2022.04) today .... and the problem is gone. I'm sorry for wasting your time :-(
