Do you know where I could the BIOS of this machine? As well as a picture of the board and/or a manual.

Can you provide evidence that this does not occur on real hardware?

A problem I can't fix other than by reverting to the more accurate PIT implementation which is, however, slower. So I'm unfortunately closing this with CANTFIX.

Then I'm going to consider this fixed.
