Serial passthrough is in the works, once that is done, serial to serial between two VM's should be possible.

This looks like a bug with the IBM MCA ESDI controller.

The IBM PS/2 SCSI Adapter is going to be implemented in v2.10 based ont he technical reference manual.

The IBM ESDI controller is going to be fixed at some point in the future.

Groza's 386DX uses an AMI BIOS.

I used to use SHSUCDX but I went back to MSCDEX because SHSUCDX was not as compatible. Can you upload the VM?

I guess this can be closed since it turned to be a driver incompatibility.

This must certainly be an 86Box bug, in either the PIT emulation or the PC Speaker emulation (though the former controls the latter).
