I'm unable to replicate this on Folia 1.21.8. Please try without using your Folia fork, and if it works with regular Folia, report it to the fork maintainer.
Failing builds are expected, currently requires a local publish of [this PR](https://github.com/GeyserMC/geyser-adapters/pull/9) for it to compile, which GH actions doesn't have
This should be good to merge once the modded adapters are merged in.
We don't even natively support 1.8.9, this likely won't be fixed. This issue is gonna be a low priority.
The videos clearly show delay, this is likely just lag which we can't just fix.
I'm unable to replicate this issue on the latest version of Geyser and bedrock (as of the time of writing).
You can work on the issue without assignment, just make a PR and reference the issue
