Using 1.21.8 Folia (latest version as of this writing).

I'm unable to replicate this on Folia 1.21.8. Please try without using your Folia fork, and if it works with regular Folia, report it to the fork maintainer.

I suspect the source of this issue is that hiding and showing the player occurs at the same effective tick. From what I've discerned, creating separate entity schedulers for both operations appears to have resolved this problem
