Same issue here on 1.0.3 and 0.4.9. Anyone know of a workaround or what needs to be fixed?

Hello @lydonchandra long time no see ;P No plans currently. Once on QGIS 3 it might be possible but no solid plans yet.

@lydonchandra the webkit that ships with Roam (QGIS 2.18) is pretty junk for that kind of thing. The update to QGIS 3 should help.
