I think this can be closed now, the [new tokio version](https://github.com/tokio-rs/tokio/releases/tag/tokio-1.35.0) includes the fix

I am having the exact same problem, if you find a solution I would like to know

Additionally I'm against this because Borsh seems related to blockchain/web3 which is not something we'd like to condone
