while i understand the minimal burden you talk about... i think you still should NOT drop support for 2k/XP you have something great here, that is how MS should had...

so i'm compiling on windows using mingw 8.1 and regular cmd.exe compiling works, altough "clean" uses linux specific stuff that fails to cleanup properly nonetheless it compiles however i noticed...
why it would even require win7? if it just uses SDL? and why it would require 64bit? thats a bug
Great Project! it's very useful given that my "AMD FirePro W7000" card does not install OpenCL properly here on win7 32bit... but would you provide binaries? as i can't compile...

why the release is 64bit? when this could run confortable in 32bit... just to deliberatebly sabotage compatibility? or it was plain laziness?

seems unrolling is not being considered for your tests... in my tests here unrolling 8x seems to be faster than cmov in a lot more situations... i actually came here...
