xTeVe is a Proxy that simply uses a url to access it. Your request doesn't make sense.

I've noticed this too, unfortunately, I think the Dev has retired. Please look at one of the forks available that's active.

I suspect your Client is not properly disconnecting from the Stream. We have called this "Ghost Streams" and have plagued media players for years. (Such as Emby)
