how to completely remove xteve

Open egypsiano opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

I had unfamiliar issues and I planned to remove xteve to re-install it again. suddenly it's running but without webgui, right after restoring my old backup from another device (running under Debian 11 as the new one too). I googled it and I couldn't find how to remove it completely from my system. P.S. I am running xteve as service under user with

chmod -aG sudo MyUserName

. thank you

just delete it, xTeVe doesn't "install" it just runs.

unfortunately, I did then re-install it again, still with the same issue can't access to xteve webgui.

you run it with a config path, just stop your service, rm the config path, then you are "clean"

@alturismo thank you so much I did something close to that, I made my modifications to the config file and it worked for me, but again your method much easier, thank you again. Problem solved
