What websites are you trying this on? Have you tried restarting the browser after installing the add-on? Maybe you have another add-on installed which is interfering with the 5.1 one?...

Sorry for the late reply. @utucuro is correct. Mozilla has been saying for a long time, that the new Firefox beta for android will only support a few selected extensions...
