I consider speed to be a feature not a bug. If anything, it's probably the Amiga software which is buggy because it was never designed for this kind of performance....

Wish I'd seen this earlier - I suspected a major bug in the animation code and was confused by the use of a semaphore. I wrote my own horizontal scroller...
