directory config not respected

In my opinion it's better to not hide these things from the user, and some users may not want some of the stuff in the default config. And I'd say...

Prior to 3.0 I could have two Haybox's connected to one Switch. Now the Switch will only recognise one at a time. How to get around this?

Didn't know about this. Not sure what would cause this, sorry.

Implement tabs like in web browsers

Tabs would be nice, but I think multiple windows would be more useful, particularly for those who use workspaces and/or tiling WMs. Ideally having both would be nice.
