Ok, I made some small modifications to the code and got it to work with my keyboard. I will post my modified code as a new fork later this week.

@pmarini Yes, we definitely have the same model (although mine is white and with Nordic layout). Interesting that upgrading to Ubuntu 18.10 solved the num pad issue. I use Linux...

@sriharshakunda What do you mean by cogging? The issue I had manifested itself by the motor stopping completely coupled with faint buzzing noise. I only experienced it in velocity mode...
